I had the pleasure of living next to Bruce for 12 years. Bruce was always someone I enjoyed carrying on a conversation with and had very many of them with him. He always kept an extra eye on the neighborhood and especially making sure my kids were safe. He paid my oldest daughter to mow his lawn even though she wasn't the best at it,he never complained and told her good job. Anytime one of my girls had a fundraiser he was the first person they went to and he always bought something from one of them. I also had the pleasure of fishing with him multiple times and remember once he decided he was hungry so he told me to go get a pizza and he would pay for it.
Sorry for your loss. Bruce was a very good man.

I also have fond memories of Bruce from high school debate. He was smart as a whip and almost as quirky. That's what made him special! My condolences to his brother, Mark.

Bruce was a real character and a excellent high school debater. I had the privilege of being his debate partner in 1973 and placing 3rd at the Hays tournament w/Bruce. He was cynical and funny and had a very dry wit.
My condolences to all his extended family. God be with you all.

Bruce will be missed, I had some amazing hunting and fishing trips with Bruce and more than that he always cared about how everyone in my family was doing. Bruce was sincere in his concerns about others and was a individual who had strong ideas of living life on his terms.
I sometimes found humor in Bruce's antics but I always had great respect
for his love of life and pride of his outstanding service to our country.
Bruce was a good friend and will be missed.
