William L. “Bill” Elliott, 74, died May 25, 2014 at Hospice House. He was born Sept. 28, 1939 in Hutchinson to Harry and Billie Elliott.

He had worked for Conklin Cars and Washington Heights in Hutchinson.

Survivors include his companion for over 20 years, Treva Banworth, two sons; Michael Elliott, Junction City, Richard Elliott, Hutchinson, his mother, Billie Martens, sister, Nancy Shattuck, and half-sister, Jalayn Martens, all of Amarillo, TX, and a half-brother, Jimmy Martens, Oklahoma City, OK. He was preceded in death by his father Harry and step-father, John Martens.

Cremation has taken place and according to Bill’s wishes no services will be held. Memorials may be given to Hospice House in care of Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home.
