Dr. Randle C. Johnson, 67, died May 9, 2014. He was born November 16, 1946 in Hutchinson, the son of Robert and Ruby Sager Johnson. He was a 1964 graduate of Hutchinson High School. He received his Internal Medicine degree from Kansas University. He was a gastroenterologist and liver specialist at the Hutchinson Medical Center for 30 years. He retired after practicing medicine for 40 years. He had served in the United States Air Force. He was a member of the Hutchinson Community College Quarterback Club.

He married Shirley Gitchell in 1968. She died in 2003. He married Patsy Stoecker January 1, 2007 in Las Vegas, NV. She survives.

Other survivors include a daughter, Lori Taylor-Brown, Hutchinson and 2 grandchildren, Danielle Taylor and Ryan Brown, both of Hutchinson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Melissa Kaye Johnson, and a sister, Melinda Johnson.

Cremation is planned. Friends may sign a memorial book from 9AM to 9PM Tuesday, MAY 20th, with the family receiving friends from 6-8PM that evening, all at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home and Crematory, Hutchinson. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hutchinson Symphony or to Radio Kansas, both in care of the funeral home.
