Marilyn Kay Hoffman, 59, of Pretty Prairie, died March 6, 2015 at Hospice House. She was born Dec. 1, 1955 in Wichita, KS, the daughter of Raphael and Mary Kathryn Teson Hermes.
She was a graduate of Andale High School and had attended Hutchinson Junior College. She had been employed at Prairie Sunset Home, Pretty Prairie as a CNA.
Survivors include her mother, Mary K. (Hermes) Parker, Mt. Hope, KS, three sons; Russell Hoffman, South Hutchinson, Daniel Hoffman and Levi Hutchison, both of Hutchinson, three brothers; Steve Hermes (Angela), Andale, Damon Hermes (Valerie), Wichita, Raphael Hermes Jr. (Lynda), Goddard, two sisters; Christine Eberle, Wichita, Deanne Hermes, Hutchinson, two grandchildren; Dillion and Addison Hoffman. She was preceded in death by her father.
Parish Rosary will be 7:30pm Monday, at St. Teresa’s Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00am, Tuesday at St. Teresa’s Catholic Church, with Fr. Nicholas Voelker celebrating. Cremation will follow. Visitation will be from 1:00pm to 9:00pm Sunday and 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home. Memorials may be given to Hospice House in care of the funeral home.
